MISSION: 

The Purpose of the TMA PTO Shall Be:

  • To assist and support TMA by providing programs, activities, materials, items, and financial support to further enrich and enhance the educational experience of the students
  • To promote a closer and more effective relationship between students, parents, teachers, staff and the community
  • To encourage involvement and volunteerism of parents, guardians and other family and community members who are interested in supporting the educational and/or social activities of TMA

 

What is PTO? We are non-profit Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) providing students access to programs and services not funded by the State and District.

The PTO is a small standing group of parents who volunteer their time and resources to keep the everyday texture of school life running: the Friday folder flyer, the table at Back to School Night, the photo someone remembered to take at Dino Dash.


We report to the principal and coordinate closely with room parents and staff, but the work itself, the collages, the rosters, the sales tracking, is entirely parent-run.

Why We Need You

While PTO membership is voluntary, we encourage a donation of $180 per student (one dollar per school day). The goal of joining TMA PTO is to enhance the educational experiences of your student(s) at TMA. 100% of your donation goes directly towards providing resources for classrooms. Any donation amount will give you member voting rights for the PTO.
